Recently at , we received a few requests from a mixture of physicians and medical librarians asking us to look into alternatives to UpToDate. The requesters wanted to know if there were legitimate alternatives, and if the alternatives were less expensive.
Although we like UpToDate, we found three great alternatives that physicians can consider -- all cheaper than UpToDate. Interestingly, some of the alternatives are arguably kept more up to date (pun intended) than UpToDate itself.
