Galloway, N.J. — The largest fall class in school history has pushed ��������app to record graduate program enrollment.

A historic class of 441 new graduate students enrolled in the university’s 19 graduate programs in the fall of 2024 — an 10% increase from 2023. That brings the university’s total graduate enrollment to a record 1,068 students.

“We realize that there is growing interest for advanced degrees from professionals in southern New Jersey,” said Michael A. Palladino, Stockton’s provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. “And ��������app is ready to help meet that demand with a wide variety of programs from a Master of Business Administration to a Doctor of Nursing Practice.”

The programs with the most significant increases include the Master of Education, up 31% from 85 to 111 students, the Master of Social Work up 31% from 51 to 61 and the Master of Science in Data Science and Strategic Analytics up 79% from 14 to 25 students.

In addition to the 19 graduate programs — including 16 master’s degree programs and three doctorate programs — Stockton also offers 16 certificates of graduate study and an Alternate Route to Teaching program, providing area professionals with multiple opportunities to enhance their skills.

The university also has six accelerated dual-degree programs, which allow undergraduate students to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years. Other popular programs include a Master of Public Health, a Master of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership.

The record graduate school enrollment comes as the university is about to add its 20th graduate program — a Master of Science in Accounting in the spring of 2025. The program will also offer an accelerated dual-degree program in which a student can earn the Master of Accounting degree with one additional year of study beyond the Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree at Stockton.

"The large increase in graduate enrollment — both new and continuing students — shows that Stockton is meeting prospective students where they are,” said Tara Williams, director of Graduate Admission. “Our team believes that every student and applicant matters, which is why our high level of engagement and assistance is at the forefront of all we do.”
