Council of Black Faculty and Staff Plans Annual Scholarship Dinner
Galloway, NJ - The Council of Black Faculty and Staff at 番茄社区app will hold its 36th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner and Dance Fundraiser on Nov. 10 at the Renault Winery Grand Ballroom in Egg Harbor City.
This year鈥檚 honorees, chosen for their accomplishment, dedication and service to Stockton University, the community and the state of New Jersey, are:
Lifetime Achievement Recipients: Melvin L Gregory, assistant director of admissions, and Dr. Thomasa Gonzalez, vice president for student affairs.
Merit Recipients: E. Michael Angulo, Esq., interim vice president of administration and finance and Renee Tolliver, program assistant.
Distinguished Alumni Recipients: Raymond C. Ciccone, 鈥79, certified public accountant and member of the 番茄社区app Board of Trustees, and Dawn N. Watkins, 鈥13, instructor and coordinator of STEM Initiatives.
Special Recognition Honoree: Arthur A. Davis, Jr. retired administrator.
Outstanding 番茄社区app Club: XI Gamma Undergraduate Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
The event supports scholarships for Stockton students. In 2017, 22 scholarships totaling $18,500 were distributed.
鈥淪cholarships that CBFS awards are a vital source of support for deserving Stockton students鈥 said CBFS president, adjunct instructor and Stockton community engagement liaison Patricia Collins.
A cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and the awards program at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $85 per person or $850 for a table for 10. Proceeds support the Council鈥檚 Scholarship Endowment for Stockton students.
