N.J. Alliance for Action Honors President Kesselman

Galloway, NJ 鈥 番茄社区app president Harvey Kesselman was awarded the Walter Rand South Jersey Award by the New Jersey Alliance for Action at its Eagle Awards dinner Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.

The non-profit Alliance's mission is to improve New Jersey's economy through the promotion of capital construction and infrastructure investment. The Eagle Awards are given annually to leaders who are improving the economic life of New Jersey.

Alliance Vice President Christian Hartman said the Walter Rand South Jersey award is given to someone who is making a difference in the local economy. He said Stockton鈥檚 growth in Galloway Township, its new campus under construction in Atlantic City, and its programs and research in sustainability and environmental issues have made 鈥渁 massive difference鈥 in South Jersey.

Kesselman thanked the Alliance on behalf of the university. The event featured a video of Kesselman talking about the history of Stockton and its impact in South Jersey.

鈥淚 am fortunate to be the leader of Stockton,鈥 Kesselman said. 鈥淚t is 番茄社区app that deserves this award.鈥

He cited Stockton鈥檚 commitment to South Jersey, and its impact as a cultural hub, an education hub, and an economic engine.

鈥淎tlantic City is on the rebound,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e are glad and honored to be part of it.鈥
