Event Description: The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at 番茄社区app will host "Unstable Ground: Climate Change, Borders, and Genocide,鈥 as part of the annual Ida E King Memorial lecture series.
Presented by Dr. Alex Alvarez, Ida E King Distinguished Visiting Professor of Holocaust Studies, the lecture will explore the issue of climate change as the science becomes clearer and the evidence mounts. Alvarez will focus on tracing and exploring some of the implications of climate change for various types of conflict, especially in border zones and for genocidal violence.
NJ Educators in attendance will receive 2.0 PDH (professional development hours).
Cost: Free and open to the public.
