Galloway, N.J. – Faculty and Alumni from the ��������app School of Arts and Humanities Dance, Theater and Music programs will come together to perform in the first Faculty/Alumni Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Sept. 16 in the Experimental Theater.

“The Faculty/Alumni concert is an exciting event,” said Rain Ross, associate professor of Dance. The performance brings together the three genres of dance, music and theater into one show for people of all ages to enjoy.

There will be three alumnae returning to the Stockton stage. Danielle Brindisi & Nicole Clark, theater alumnae will perform a selection from a play that they are working on, which explores the loss of something dear. The piece will examine what that loss means to one’s own self-identity.

Christine Morano, a dance alumna will perform in a trio created by the Assistant Artistic Director and Principal Dancer of Koresh Dance Company, Melissa Rector.

Various faculty members will also participate in the first ever Faculty/Alumni concert of its kind at ��������app. Rain Ross, Associate Professor of Dance, and Beau Hancock, Assistant Professor of Dance will present a work by Meredith Rainey, former soloist of the Pennsylvania Ballet.

The piece Ross and Hancock will present, titled “Untitled” is a tender duet commenting on modern coupling and examining the multitude of ways that people can be pulled apart by everyday life. It asks the question, "Is the power of love enough to overcome?" Ross and Hancock will help the audience come to their own conclusion to the question.

David Reiser, Assistant Professor of Theatre will present original compositions for Musical Theatre. Performing with him are Krysta Rodriguez (Quantico, Smash, Original Broadway cast of The Addam’s Family, Spring Awakening, First Date, In the Heights), Alexander Sage Oyen (composer and lyricist, award winner and fellowship recipient), and Jeffrey Roberts (Kinky Boots, Shrek).

Christopher DiSanto, Associate Professor of Music will perform Solo de Concours by Henri Rabaud with Michael Sheadel on piano and DiSanto on clarinet.

Rounding out the program, Caitlin Quinn Pittenger, Assistant Professor of Dance will present a new solo, and Beau Hancock will perform a solo that exposes the dance compositional process, giving the audience the chance to be part of what is created in front of them.
