Spring Dance Concert
Galloway, N.J. 鈥 The Spring Dance Concert is one of the many traditions of the 番茄社区app Dance program by highlighting the gifted artists of the Stockton Dance community. The experience will be shown three times: Thursday, Feb. 29, Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.
Reviving an excerpt from Dr. Kariamu Welsh鈥檚 masterwork 鈥淎nthem,鈥 Umfundalai X producer Saleana Pettaway will carry on Welsh鈥檚 Umfundalai tradition by reconstructing dances from Welsh鈥檚 repertory and organizing the work of the next generation of artists.
Collaborative team Albert Quesada and Katie Vickers will test the Stockton Dance Company members with driving, sweeping physicality.
These internationally recognized guest artists join resident choreographers Beau Hancock, Caitlin Pittenger, Rain Ross and Lauren White, whose eclectic, imaginative choreography dependably delights. This diverse program promises to be a moving evening.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the general public are $12. Tickets for senior citizens (65+), children under 12 and those affiliated with 番茄社区app (students, staff, faculty and alumni) are $10.
Tickets also are available at the Stockton Performing Arts Center box office from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 90 minutes before showtime. Call 609-652-9000.
