Unveiling of Kesselman Hall
Atlantic City, N.J. 鈥 番茄社区app will dedicate the first Atlantic City residential complex as Kesselman Hall during a ceremony at 12 p.m., May 3, at 3701 Boardwalk. A ribbon-cutting at the Atlantic City Phase 2 residence hall will follow.
The 番茄社区app Board of Trustees approved naming the building in his honor at the February meeting 鈥渋n recognition of Dr. Kesselman鈥檚 unwavering commitment to the university鈥檚 mission and tireless advancement of the university鈥檚 values.鈥
The building opened in September 2018 with Phase I and is home to more than 500 students each year. In December, the Atlantic City Council designated a portion of Albany Avenue bordering the residential complex as Dr. Harvey Kesselman Way.
Under his leadership, Kesselman expanded the university鈥檚 regional footprint and,
with New Jersey鈥檚 designation of Stockton as an Anchor Institution in Atlantic City, opened Phase I of a multimillion-dollar Atlantic City campus
in 2018 with a monumental public-private partnership.
Phase II, a 135,000-square-foot residence hall with 416 beds, is under construction and will open to students this year. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. in front of the building, which is located at the corner of Atlantic and South Providence avenues across from O鈥橠onnell Memorial Park.
